Every purchase helps support the global nonprofit National Geographic Society in its work to protect and illuminate our world through exploration, research, and education. Build the perfect butterfly habitat in the included mesh enclosure with see-through lid! Kids can decorate the feeder with the included stickers, and get ready to watch one of nature's most exciting metamorphoses! You’ll receive a voucher for 5 baby caterpillars (plus shipping and handling). With the National Geographic Butterfly Grow Kit, kids will watch on with wonder as their caterpillars grow, before beginning one of nature's most incredible transformations. They'll eventually form a chrysalis to protect themselves as they develop, and finally emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies! This kit includes kid-friendly instructions along with a full-color poster with lessons on the life cycle and anatomy of butterflies. As their caterpillars grow into butterflies, kids can also track each stage and learn about what to expect every step of the way! We make the highest quality hands-on science toys, and all products are backed by exceptional service. With a mission to inspire people to care about the planet, the National Geographic Society is one of the world’s largest nonprofit scientific and educational organizations.
